Employee surveys are usually conducted at a fixed interval. This can be once a year or more often, for example quarterly. However, it is also possible to schedule one employee survey per year paired with a plus survey per quarter. The surveys should be conducted regularly, but not too often, as follow-up processes must also be recognizable. The employee survey is a central tool for a functioning feedback landscape that should definitely be used.
The figures may vary depending on the organizational structure, but the general aim is to achieve a response rate of ⅔ to ¾ of employees, provided that regular employee surveys are carried out. Visible follow-up processes are a good incentive for strong employee participation. If the respondents have the impression that their answers are heard and have an impact, they are more likely to take part again.
